Powder Run is a free game. There's no account, sign-up, or payment info involved anywhere.

Gameplay analytics

The game sends basic, anonymous gameplay events (like a run starting or finishing, and your score) to PostHog, an analytics provider, so the developer can see how the game is actually being played. This includes your rough location (from IP address) and device/browser type, but not your name or any personal identifiers, unless you've entered a name as described below.

The leaderboard

If you enter a name and submit a Daily Mountain time, that name and time are shown publicly on the leaderboard, and visible to anyone you challenge or who challenges you. Use a nickname if you'd rather not share your real name.

What's stored on your device

Your best scores, chosen character, and settings are saved locally in your browser and never leave your device except as described above.

No ads, no selling data

Powder Run has no ads and doesn't sell or share your data with anyone beyond the analytics provider needed to run the analytics itself.
